Join us for a special Libraries Rock! Summer Reading Program event featuring the Chautauqua Program made possible by the New Mexico Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Camilla Dodson will take the audience on a journey to her native Losotho by sharing the role music plays in traditional African society. This interactive, cultural program will feature a plethora of African drums. Participants will also have a chance to construct their own drum!

Our Weekly Story Time program occurs every Wednesday at 10:30am where Preschool and Kindergarten age children (with parental supervision) can listen to stories and participate in fun-filled age appropriate activities. Your little ones are sure to enjoy a variety of engaging activities such as: arts and crafts, song and rhythm, movement games, and educational presentations.

Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP)
The 2020-2024 ICIP which establishes priorities for funding capital
projects in the Town of Edgewood will be presented for discussion
and public input on June 20, 2018 during the Town Council meeting,
which begins at 6:30 p.m. and is held at the Community Center
at 27 E. Frontage Rd.
This will be the first of three meetings before a plan is finalized. Some general characteristics of infrastructure capital improvement projects include:
• Long life cycle (at least 10 years).
• Not part of annual budget.
• New systems/buildings, or major renovations/repairs.
• For purposes of this plan, under the control (ownership or long-term lease)
of the entity doing the planning.
Public comment is welcome during the discussion.
